Moreland’s Summer Reading Program is Here!

Places to Go and Things to Do in Oregon is the theme of the Moreland Summer Reading Program.mt. hood

The Moreland Library Committee wants to help keep your child reading throughout the summer. Did you know books for kids can be found in two places at the church?  The Main Library is located upstairs across from the office and is open on Sundays and Monday-Thursday when the office is open.  You will find series books like Chronicles of Narnia, American Girl and Little House on the Prairie; as well picture books for younger children, Bible story books and lots more.  The Library Annex is in Fellowship Hall along the north wall.  You can often find the new books here–like easy to read biographies of Anne Frank, Helen Keller and Barack Obama.  You will also find books about Oregon along with a large map listing things to do and see in Oregon.

Play the summer reading game:  Read a book and write the title on you special book list.  If you read (or have read to you) 5 books between June 21 and July 26 you’ll get a special prize!
